Yue Guang Bai
月光白 · Moonlight White
White
The story says the leaf is gathered only at night, under a full moon, by young women of Yunnan. That is almost certainly a sales invention, and the name it left behind is moonlight beauty.
What is true is the look. The leaf comes out two-toned, dark on the upper side and silver below, like a hillside half lit by moon.
It is a Yunnan white made from the broad pu-erh leaf, withered a long time and never fired, which means that unlike other whites it keeps darkening toward red for years afterward. Honey and apricot, malty, and thick enough with down that you feel it on the tongue.
